Domain Transfer Checklist
To transfer your domain name smoothly, please remember to have the following steps done previously to initializing the domain transfers.
- Make sure that domain WHOIS (contact) information is up-to-date.
- Make sure that you have access to administrative contact email address.
- Confirm that domain name is atleast 60 days old.
- Confirm that domain name is not transferred in last 60 days.
- Domain must be unlocked.
- Domain must be in ACTIVE status.
- Privacy Protection must be disabled.
- Confirm that domain name is not expiring within 7 days.
- Confirm that domain name is no more than 30 days past expiration date.
- You have obtained domain Auth Code from your current registrar.
