Before you apply to transfer your domain names to IndiaLinks, please make sure that you have gone through the Domain Transfer Checklist and you have fulfilled the criteria.
To transfer your domain name, please follow below steps.
After submitting the transfer order, you will receive an authorization email to the registrant email address. Respond to this accordingly with your confirmation. Please note that domain transfers can take 5-10 days.
Expired domain names can be transferred however not while in redemption. Although you can transfer an expired domain name, no updates can be made to an expired domain. (So if you need to change email address, you would need to renew domain name with current registrar.)
If you transfering an expired domain name, make sure you monitor the transfer carefully so that if it fails, you can renew it prior to it going into redemption.
Domain names can not be transferred if it is less than 60 days old or it was transferred within last 60 days.
If you transfer a domain name which has been renewed at the previous registrar less than 45 days ago, the domain will not receive an additional year upon transfer completion. This is registry restriction and applies to all registrars.
